So, who are Trinity?
TRINITY is a three piece girl band signed to Fascination Records who released their first album in 2006. The three girls who make up the band are Hayley, Jessica and Emma. All three girls contribute to writing their own songs which is rare for girl bands nowadays. After forming in 2005 the girls have already had five top ten singles, three of which were number ones. Two albums later the trio are just about to release their third album 'Postcard From My Heart'.

What's 'Postcard From My Heart' like?
'Postcard From My Heart' is that perfect, electronic, upbeat album the pop music scene has been needing from a girl band for a while now, and it's finally here. According to Trinity the album emphasises the fact that “females are more powerful than ever before” and how “any girl can remain strong through whatever love throws at them”.
The opening track for their hot new album is the lead single from the album 'In Denial'. After already bagging the number one spot in it's first week in the UK charts, I think it is safe to say that 'In Denial' was the perfect lead single choice. It's fresh, upbeat and basically just makes you want to get up and dance your socks off, and it puts those heart-breaker boys in their place too!
Rumoured to be the second single, ‘Postcard From My Heart’ is a ballad yet still has a dance-like beat to it. The song creates a strong impression of female empowerment and will definitely be the track to give the girls out there a confidence boost and make them realise that they don’t need a man to be happy. This song was also produced by hot producer of the moment ‘Red One’, who’s worked with Lady GaGa, Ciara and the Sugababes.
Other tracks that shine to me are Whatever Makes You Happy, G.I.R.L, and Twisted. Whatever Makes You Happy is the stand out ballad on the album and it's beautiful. Those who have been in bad relationships can relate well, and it even made me cry on first listen! G.I.R.L is the most fun track on the album. It's bubbly and bouncy and definitely gets you in a good mood – it's one for the girls (hence the title). Would be a perfect summer track. Twisted is basically an attack at all the cheating guys out there! So any of you guilty guys wanting to listen, beware! It's fierce, it's feisty, and rather addictive after a few listens.

How many good tracks are there?
In all honestly I would go for ten out of twelve. Pretty impressive, eh?

Best Track?
OK I know this is cheating but I never do this and there’s a first time for everything. I can’t just choose the one so I’m saying two because it’s my rules! ‘Postcard From my Heart’ is definitely the best upbeat track as no matter how many times I listen to it, it makes me want to sing my heart out and jump around my living room like a crazy person, but the good kind of crazy of course. ‘Whatever Makes You Happy’ is my other best track as it is one of the most beautiful ballads I have ever heard from a girl band in my life. Being the last track on the album, you can just tell that it’s going to be that awesome track on the album that will never be released but you wish so badly that it would be.

Worst Track?
Serve You. It’s a fair track but it’s quite R&B and I’m not sure this genre suits their voices as well as the pop genre.

Finally, closing opinion time…
Every track is likeable, several are even spectacular in their own way, and this is the best pop album I have heard from a girl band in a long while. Just when we all thought pop music was on its way out, these pop princesses have proved us wrong. And with their feisty attitude and heartfelt yet crazily happy upbeat tracks, the girls have reminded me of how good pop music can actually be! Cheryl Cole and her fellow pop divas better be watching their backs...
